Mr. K's WWI WebQuest!

You are a news reporter during the Great War.
It is your job to report on the different areas of interest taking place during the war.
It's up to you what you report on, but some interesting topics would be Trench Warfare, specific battles (like Verdun), chemical weapons, what set off the European Powder Keg, the sinking of the Lusitania, or anything else you can think of.
After finding a topic of interest you will search the internet looking for information on your topic. This could include songs, pictures, personal accounts, or anything else directly related to World War I.
Then it's up to you to write a newspaper article about your topic. While doing this keep in mind how newspaper articles flow. They usually have a big, attention grabbing headline, pictures, and start with very general information moving on to specific information. This will give you a good idea of how to put together a newspaper article.
